Once we have settled on scents, colour and creating a base of quality moisturizing butters and oils, Lye is added to start the chemical reaction of the soapmaking process “Soaponification”. Our scents are from pure essential oils and 100% natural colours enhance the soap’s appearance. Soaps are usually 2-tone with swirls, waves or a simple block design with less fuss. Once the soap is formed, setting times usually take 4 to 6 weeks.
